Atlantic Rock Travelling to CRC
Sunday, August 13, 3:00 PM MST, Calgary, AB: The Atlantic Rock (the regional representative men's side) travel to Calgary, Alberta for the final two pool games of the Canadian Rugby Championship to take on the BC Bears on Sunday. Fresh off of the tune up game, in which the Rock beat the visiting Cork Constitution Side 36 -31 this past Sunday. The Bears won their first pool game with a comprehensive 43-0 win over the Prairie Wolf Pack, while the Rock narrowly lost their first pool game 21 - 17 to the Ontario Blues. Kickoff is 3:00 pm Mountain Standard Time, Calgary Rugby Park, Calgary, AB.
The Rock’s final pool game will be against the Prairie Wolf Pack, on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 7:PM, Mountain Time, in Calgary, Alberta. To be followed by the medal games Sunday, August 20, 2017.

The Newfoundland Rock will also be sending a U18 team to Calgary to compete in the U18 Canadian Rugby Championships. The two pool games will lead into the playoffs. Newfoundland has drawn matches against the Prairie Blizzard on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time and against the Alberta Wolf Pack Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. The following playoffs run Friday, August 18 to Sunday, August 20, 2017. All games are at the Calgary Rugby Park. The team includes the following players:

And finally, Newfoundland will be sending a U16 men's team to the CRC in Calgary as well. They will be playing 3 pool games leading into the playoffs. Beginning Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at 10:00 AM Mountain Time, against British Columbia 3. Next up is Manitoba the same day, Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 4:00 PM Mountain Time. The final pool game is Wednesday, August 16 at 2:00 PM Mountian Time against Saskatchewan. The playoffs run Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19, 2017. All games will be at the Calgary Rugby Park, Calgary, Alberta.
