The Swilers Rugby Football Club and the Newfoundland and Labrador Rugby Union are honoured to welcome the Canadian Classics Women to our shores from August 25-28!
The Canadian Classic Women comprise former international capped players, outstanding club presidents, coaches, ambassadors, mothers, and wives.
Please join us on Thursday, August 25, at the Sandman Hotel, starting at 6:00 pm, for an evening with these talented women, hear their stories of representing Canada on the global rugby stage, take part in a player Q&A session, and enter a draw for some fabulous prizes.
Then we would love to see you again at the match versus our very own Senior Women’s Rock at Swilers RFC Saturday, August 27 at 4:00 pm!
The Canadian Classics also give back to the communities that host them. On Sunday, they’ll host a skills camp for all girls 15+ at Swilers RFC. Free to attend! Get some valuable coaching advice from our multi-capped Classics players!
